PRESS RELEASEThe initiative is organized in collaboration with ABiLiArt, ReNaLiArt and the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art. Applications due by November 23.
Rome, November 18, 2025 — The second edition of EvolveArt, the national competition promoted by Fondazione MAIRE – ETS and MAIRE together with the Association of Friends of the Biennale of Art High Schools – ABiLiArt, the National Network of Art High Schools – ReNaLiArt, in collaboration with the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art (GNAMC), is now underway.
Dedicated to students of Italian Art High Schools, the project invites young creatives to reflect, through contemporary creativity, on the themes of sustainable development, energy transition, and circular economy, bringing aesthetics, ethics, and science into dialogue to imagine new horizons for the future.
EvolveArt was created with the aim of supporting young artists’ talent and enhancing the school as a place of cultural and civic education. The winning works — this year the challenge is to create sculptures and installations — will be exhibited at the GNAMC and in one of the Roman headquarters of the MAIRE group.
Through the art’s language, participants will be called upon to reinterpret the challenge of sustainability, circularity, and the fight against climate change, promoting new expressive forms capable of raising public awareness of the most urgent environmental issues.
The call for entries is available on the websites of the partner organizations: www.renaliart.itwww.fondazionemaire.com gnamc.cultura.gov.it. Participation is reserved for Italian Art High Schools, particularly classes III, IV, and V. The application form must be submitted as indicated in the call by November 23, 2025.
