Milan, 30 October 2018 - Maire Tecnimont Group received the Smart Working Award 2018, during the "Smart Working: a non-stop revolution" convention held in Milan at the Bovisa Campus of the Politecnico di Milano.
A remarkable recognition, in addition to the ones conferred by both the Advisory Board and the audience, for a Group that "has people at its center when designing a new way of working, and whose inspiring principles are productivity, motivation, sustainability, and engagement" underlined Franco Ghiringhelli, Maire Tecnimont Group Human Resources Organization and ICT SVP, who presented the “Be Adaptive!” project. He added: "We encouraged our employees to present and share their ideas, supported managers in delivering change, adapted common areas to be more functional, and empowered people through enabling technologies. We strongly believe in this project, which we significantly invested into. We know it will help us overcome future challenges. This program is certainly one of the digital transformation steps that the Maire Tecnimont Group has undertaken.
The program allows our people to maximize their operational autonomy and the ability to achieve results in ways that foster increasing accountability, a spirit of initiative, and the sense of belonging to the Maire Tecnimont Group's entrepreneurial project.
The Smart Working Award 2018, assigned by the Osservatorio Smart Working of the School of Management at the Politecnico di Milano, rewards Italian companies with a demonstrated ability to innovate in their working methods. A growing trend throughout Italy – with an increase of 20% in the last year – adopted by over half of the sample companies.
