• Enhanced competitiveness and commercial reach in key global energy and chemicals markets

Milan, 8 July 2026 – MAIRE (MAIRE.MI) announces that Tecnimont, part of the Group’s Integrated E&C Solutions business unit, and Sinopec Engineering (Group) Co. Ltd. (SEG), one of China’s leading engineering companies in the energy and chemical sectors, have signed an agreement aimed at enhancing their collaboration in the development and delivery of large-scale projects.

The agreement is designed to leverage the strengths of the two companies across the entire project value chain, from engineering and procurement to manufacturing and construction.

The agreement was signed at MAIRE’s headquarters in Milan by Alessandro Bernini, Chief Executive Officer of MAIRE, and Zhang Xinming, President of SEG, in the presence of Lü Shijun, representative of Shanghai Engineering Company, together with senior representatives from the international business teams of both companies.

Building on the successful relationships developed across ongoing projects, the agreement establishes a framework for jointly assessing and pursuing selected opportunities worldwide across the energy and chemicals sectors. By combining Tecnimont’s advanced engineering capabilities, global procurement expertise and international project execution track record with SEG’s manufacturing strengths and large-scale construction capabilities, the agreement aims to enhance competitiveness, broaden commercial reach and support the delivery of increasingly complex projects in key international markets.

Under the agreement, Tecnimont and SEG will cooperate in the identification of target opportunities, joint bidding activities and commercial development initiatives, while also promoting technical and operational exchanges to further strengthen execution capabilities and maximize value creation for clients and stakeholders.
